CARE OF YOUR XPLORER, XPEDITION, XCURSION and V-MAX WOODY DURA-LITE WOODY ABS/POLYCARBONATE HARD SHELL BOARD
1) Minimize exposure to sun when not in use on the water. Do not leave your board uncovered on docks, boats, roof racks, beach or lawn for prolonged periods of time.
2) If indoor storage is not available, cover with silver/grey poly tarp to provide shade and prevent UV exposure. Keep tarp open at each end, so hot air can circulate and ventilate.
3) We recommend use of our Deluxe Board Bag, to protect your board from damage when not in use. To encourage use of board bag, we offer $150 discount on board bag when ships with board order.
4) Do not lean boards against items without adequate protection, especially where it is breezy ie Dock racks (need pads on bars and rack), side of buildings, trees, fences, other boards, etc. This can affect the graphic outer layer of your board.
5) Proper board care / maintenance is your responsibility, and is required to maintain warranty. Inspect your board regularly. E-mail support@cruisersup.com with photos if you note damage to your board, so we can assess and recommend repair. Do not use your board before repaired.
EXCESSIVE HEAT and SUN WARNING
Do not expose your SUP board or board bag to excessive heat or sunlight when not in use. Whenever you are not using your SUP board (either during storage or transport to/from the beach) particular care and attention should be made to protect the board and bag from the excessive sun and heat.
THIS APPLIES ESPECIALLY TO BOARDS WITH BLACK PAINT, CLEAR CARBON AND DARK WOOD SHELL
Deluxe board bag is not designed for extended strong UV exposure (We suggest inexpensive poly tarp over board bag, when stored long term on boats, docks and decks).
Excessive exposure to the sun and/ or heat can result in the following unavoidable and undesirable consequences, particularly to the hull and deck pad when out of the water, which can become :
- Distorted in size and/or quality.
- Unstuck from the board.
- Significant fading of color.
Do not leave your board in the the bubble wrap that it ships in. Once you receive your board, immediately remove it from the bubble wrap. Bubble wrap can cause the board to heat up excessively.
These undesirable consequences are not covered under Warranty as they are due to a user or storage problem, and not related to the manufacturing or material quality of your product.
WARNING!!!

Paddle and surf in locations within your ability.
